Terms and Conditions
1. Standard Surface Consignments
We send your order using the most efficient method, although the size or weight of some items may require a specific carrier to be used. With all consignments you can be sure that the most economical delivery method is chosen unless any other method is requested. Please allow at least 5 working days for delivery before telephoning about the order status.
2. Palletised Freight
Items too heavy or too large for standard surface consignments will be sent by pallet. Please call for a freight quote. Write your daytime phone number on the order form so the carrier can arrange for delivery to be made when you will have help on hand to unload. You will need to provide assistance for unloading all palletised deliveries and individual items over 50kgs.
3. Manufacturer's Direct Delivery
This is a special order/item delivered directly to you from the manufacturer. Please check with our sales team for an estimated delivery time. As this is a special order your credit card will be charged at the time the order is placed. Returns will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus VAT.
Faulty/damaged items can be returned within 30 days providing that they are in their original packaging or packaging of a similar standard. Petrol/Diesel powered items cannot be returned if fuelled or oiled. Please complete all information on the Return Form on the back of your invoice and call Customer Server for a Return Authorisation. All damaged items must be reported to Customer Service within 24hours of receipt. All returns must be made with 30 days of invoice. A 20% restocking fee will be charged on items if they are found to have been used, misused or badly packaged on return. Returns of direct manufacturer delivered orders/items will be subject to a 20% restocking fee plus VAT.

WARRANTIES ON MERCHANDISE
Products not manufactured by NPTL are warrantied by the manufacturer. Telephone your nearest service centre for information. If you call or write about the defective merchandise we must have the invoice number of the item. Log-splitter hydraulic components carry a one-year warranty. The rest of the machine has a 90-day warranty. Other engines carry a one to two year warranty. Warranties do not cover cylinders with bent shafts. Pressure washers are guaranteed for 12 months, pressure washer accessories for 90 days (hire hand tools carry 12 months guarantee; air tools carry 6 months guarantee; hydraulic items carry 6 months guarantee. For repairs within these warranty periods please contact the service centre nearest you. Neither NPTL nor the manufacturer can be held liable for wear and tear or misuse of goods.
NPTL'S BUYER'S STATEMENT
NPTL does not in any way warrant that you, the buyer can lawfully purchase, possess, carry or use any item which you may order, under any applicable UK and/or local laws. You, as buyer, warrant that you have checked those laws, that you are of legal age to purchase these items and that you are not under any legal disability which would in any way affect your ability to lawfully purchase them.
Cheques received with orders will be deposited upon receipt. All orders are processed assuming they will be delivered complete. However back orders do occur; these items will be delivered as we receive them. Palletised orders paid for by credit card will be charged when order is placed for in-stock merchandise; back ordered items will not be charged until merchandise is available for delivery. We reserve the right to verify funds with your bank before delivery, which may cause a delay of up to 5 working days. There is a £15 service charge on all returned cheques.
PRICES, DELIVERY AND HANDLING RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
We reserve the right to correct layout and printing errors. Photos may vary. Quantities of some products may be limited. Current catalogue prices supercede all previous prices.
Any offers made by NPTL will not effect your statuary rights.
